Hi! I'm Molly, a self taught baker from East Leeds!

I've loved baking as long as I can remember. Like many people, I was taught to bake by my Grandma and Mum. Growing up, I was probably the fussiest child when it came to desserts so would always bake my own cakes and treats for birthdays and Christmas to make my family's life easier.

 

In 2019, I graduated Uni with a degree in Costume Design with Interpretation. Throughout Uni, I would always make cakes for my housemates and friends around their birthdays and it kind of became a tradition. For a while, I struggled with finding what I actually wanted to do with my life. I've worked as a waitress, a doctor's receptionist, a seamstress and a costume assistant on a small film, still none of that felt right. I was still always baking in my spare time as and when I could.

I set up my business in February 2022 after making a birthday cake for my boyfriends brother. It reminded me of how much I loved baking and led me to wonder if it was possible to make a living from it. So, after a lot of research and umming and ahhing,  I made the decision to go all in and make this my full time business!
